Last year, I wanted to make a skeleton fly.
This year, I want to make one jump.
I built a mechanism to lift and extend
a prop with one motion.

I liked the idea of having open-ended
rubber hoses that whip around at ankle level.
These create an unseen effect that can't be
ignored. The air hissing, the hoses thrashing about...What if they had a little light on the end of each hose?

I needed a switch to activate my prop. For 2001, I was in a hurry, and rigged up a 12 volt electromechanical relay to switch standard household current.
For 2002, I decided a little more
control was needed.
